The AeroTech Reloadable Motor System RMS is an aluminum cased reusable motor in kit form that is assembled by the user. You will need AeroTech RMS-2940-120 motor hardware to build and complete the motor for many reliable flights. Motor hardware is available separately in a complete set, and also as individual parts. Important Mid Power RMS reload kits are not compatible with High Power RMS products. This RMS motor reload utilizes RCSs exclusive Black Max aerospace grade composite propellant formulation, which produces a visible black exhaust plume and a denser dark tracking smoke. Black Max motors provide a higher level of thrust than White Lightning motors of the same total impulse and are perfect for high lift-off acceleration.
The AeroTech motor reload kit comes with 1 rocket motor reload. Reload kits include all internal motor components and FirstFire Initiators.
The sale of this high power motor to persons under 18 years of age is currently prohibited by federal law. Orders containing this item will not be shipped until proof of age (such as a copy of a drivers license) is received.
Certified by the Tripoli Rocketry Association (TRA), the National Association of Rocketry (NAR) and the Canadian Association of Rocketry (CAR).
